A South Charlotte company is in search of Controller to support their team in accounting, bookkeeping, purchasing, and inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day company accounts
- Assist with financial planning
- Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management
- Ensure government compliance in all tasks
- Daily accounting oversight – payables, receivables, purchasing, and inventory control
- Manage, evaluate and train all staff and establish their job functions
- Maintain internal control policies
- Prepare Financial statements monthly, quarterly, and yearly
- Produce business activity reports, project cost reports, profit margin reports for all departments
- Forecasts cashflow and budges along with help from CFO/President
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience in the area
- Proficiency with current financial software
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Quickbooks experience a plus
