We verify the number, issue date, cardholder name, current or former addresses, employers, whether the holder of the number is listed as deceased, the number is listed as terminated or never issued, and research the date of issue. These traces will also indicate if other names (e.g. aliases or maiden names) were listed in credit applications and files. We have trace results generally available on line within minutes of entry. The resulting report is logged and also routed to our Criminal History Department for review of residence and records jurisdictions for possible criminal history checks.
